Senior Wellness Program
Your Pet is Considered to be a Senior at the Age of 7 Years
A thorough physical exam can lead to the early detection and a more successful treatment of a variety of illnesses and help to prevent potential chronic and catastrophic diseases which reduce your pet’s quality of life. Annual exams and unlimited office visits throughout the year help us to diagnose and treat problems and illnesses early, so your pet will live a longer, healthier and happier life.
Fecal Parasite Test
This is a microscopic evaluation of your pet’s stool which tests for giardia, hookworms, roundworms and other internal parasites. A fecal parasite test performed annually is a key component in keeping your pet healthy and parasite free.
Silver Whiskers Lab Panel
For senior dogs and cats we want to make sure that your pet is as healthy on the inside as they are on the outside we check blood pressure, perform blood tests for kidney, liver and thyroid function, as well as a urinalysis.
Your pet’s vision is important to their happiness and health. As senior dogs and cats age, eye diseases such as glaucoma become more common and threaten your pet’s health and welfare. Senior Eye Exams include general vision testing as well as glaucoma screening, to detect problems early.
