Dr. Knapp was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. She received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Rhode Island before heading to Southern California to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Knapp practiced small animal medicine for 3 years in California before returning to New York where she now lives with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. Her veterinary passions include dermatology and end-of-life care. When not working Dr. Knapp enjoys spending time with her family, especially their camping trips.
