Kirsten Harzewski Kirsten has been our Office Manager since 1998. After leaving IBM, she took her knowledge of computers and combined it with her love of animals to run our hospital. An ex-figure skater and dancer, Kirsten lives in Ossining with her husband Peter, son Alexander, cat Winston and parrotlet Baby.

Laura Rodriguez, LVT Laura, our licensed Veterinary Technician, joined our family in 2001 while attending Mercy College. She has had an interest in animals and veterinary medicine since childhood. She graduated from Mercy College with her BS in Veterinary Technology and obtained her NY State license shortly after. She and her husband Ralfy live in Ossining with their two daughters Emily and Lily. |
Donna Nanna Donna joined HVH in July 2006 and is now one of our Veterinary Assistants. Donna's fate was sealed when she was 10 years old and found herself taking in strays to clean them up. She'd give them a full bath and a full meal before letting them back to their business. Since then she has worked with a variety of animals, with an emphasis on horses. She worked as an equine Vet. Tech. and used her experience there to carry her through different aspects of horse care management. She'll always have room in her home for a canine companion and currently has a black lab named Jake and a cat named Costello.

Kelly Felber Kelly, our Veterinary Assistant, is an Ossining resident and an Emergency Medical Technician at the Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Her husband Larry is a paramedic and volunteers at OVAC as well. They have a son named Brandon and two Maine Coon cats named Dakota and Creeper |
Sharon Alpert Sharon's love of animals led her to join Hudson Vet in 2000. She and her husband, Steve, have lived in Ossining since 1983 and have two daughters - Lauren, a junior at Wesleyan University and Naomi, a junior at Ossining High School. The family is complete with Lila, their 8 year old flat coat retriever.

Roy Spitalnik, Canine Behviorist Roy is from Rye where he has bred and kept various species of reptiles and other exotics. At 16, he got a job at a local pet store where a career was born! Roy gained experience in grooming, boarding and with service animals such as guide dogs. |
Having an interest in biological and ethilogical training and behavior- he apprenticed under Animal Behaviorist Steven Diller, LVT for 5 years. He has received certifications from the ABTA (American behavior and Training Association) and the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. He has been a behaviorist and trainer for 8 years providing counseling for dogs and their human companions in both a private and classroom setting. Roy is currently working on furthering his expertise and earning more certifications. He has a 5 year old male Pitbull named "Jax", and to keep his mind off of dogs...on rare occasion Jax takes him fishing! |
